We can print the name on the cover of the portfolio in two different styles.
Blind Debossing (aka as embossing), involves stamping your name deeply into the cover material without using a colour foil.

The second is Colour Foil Stamping (aka blocking). A similar process to above but using less pressure. A colour foil is placed between the metal die with your name on and the cover of your portfolio and heat transfers the foil onto the cover.

The Option of a Name Plaque
Name plaques are a popular personalisation option. Aesthetically, they look very nice. The colour of the plaque normally matches the inside cover colour and or the spine cover in the case of the Hidden Screw Post portfolio. However, they also have a practical application in that if the portfolio is sent back to us, we can remove the plaque and replace it with another, newly personalised plaque. This can be a more cost effective option of updating your personal or professional details without having to go to the cost of a new portfolio.
Plaques are not an option on full hide leather portfolios
You name can be placed anywhere on the front cover you like. Bottom right hand corner, dead centre, centre and a third of the way up the cover.
Personalising The Spine & The Cover
This is not a problem. If we are using the same metal die that we are for the cover, then there is a £20.00 surcharge. You can specify this in the order process, when you are asked "would you like further personalisation?" If however you would like us to put something else on the spine, like for instance the title "Surgical Portfolio", then we have to get a second die made. The total cost for this and the additional stamping is £70.00.
