Nestled within the beautiful rolling hills and countryside of Devon, Hartnack & Co are a small artisan bindery that specialise in handmade, individual boxes, binders and albums.
This page is dedicated to the beautiful products we make for Brides and Grooms and that make such wonder wedding gifts. We understand that your wedding is going to be the one of the most important and memorable days of your life, so when it comes to keeping the memories of that special day alive for generations to come, then we think it's worth investing in the very best you can get.
Custom & Bespoke Keepsake Boxes
A keepsake or memory box is the perfect place to hold your wedding memories. Treasured items such as your marriage certificate, vows, wedding breakfast menu, speeches, stationery and anything else you hold dear.
Each are individually handmade and take between 8-10 hours to make. There are different styles of boxes available. You could choose to have a Multi Tiered Box, a Drawer and Box Set. As well as housing all your precious items, a keepsake box can also accommodate a wedding album or guest book. If you choose this we would make it to match.
Match The Fabric Colours Of Your Box To The Theme Colours Of Your Wedding

You are not restricted to just one colour or fabric.
If there is a particular colour scheme for your wedding then let us know and we can make suggestions of colours and fabrics to match. We are always happy to send out samples of fabrics so that you can match them more accurately.
The materials we use are archive safe, acid free book cloth, ensuring all your precious memories are kept safe for years to come. We would always recommend a buckram outer cover as this is water resistant and hard wearing, can be easily cleaned ensuring it stays pristine.

Leather Wedding Photo Albums - Laid Out & Printed
This beautiful A3 sized veg tanned leather album answers the question about getting those photos off the memory stick and in to something that will bring the whole day back to life!
The leather is a single piece of 3.5mm thick Italian 'Top Grain' brown leather. The cover of the album is then personalised with names in either one of our house fonts, or if you have been lucky enough to have it, we can use the bespoke wedding stationery font that was created for you.
Into this we place a screw post binding mechanism with an inside back cover made from an acid free material of your choice (see above). You send us your photos and we lay them out for you. Don't worry, we'll send you a proof and once you okay it, we will print them out on 250gsm art paper.

Personalising Your Box, Album or Guest Book
PERSONALISATION GUIDE
If you used a particular typeface or artwork for your wedding stationery, then we can also use this for your keepsake box.
If not, then we can simply typeset your names, and wedding date if you wish, in one of our House Fonts.
Personalisation is stamped onto your keepsake box or album, using either a Metallic or Coloured Foil. There is a wide colour choice of foil available.
Another option for your personalisation is to have it Blind Embossed. Either way, the overall effect is elegant, classic and timeless.
Personalised Wedding Guest Books
Something that has incredible 'wow factor' among guests is this A4 sized landscape guest book handmade from sumptuous and gorgeous thick brown leather.
A great size, these A4 landscape guest book come with pre-printed pages that can have your names printed on the top of each page. Each book comes with 25 pages, but can easily be increased to larger numbers.
Fabrics colours for inner covers can be matched to your theme (see above) and of course as also detailed above, your guest book can be personalised with your stationery artwork.

How It's All Made
Every order is made by hand in our Devon studio. Each item is handcrafted to the highest possible standards using traditional bookbinding and box making techniques. Making your keepsake box is a long process. It can take between 8 - 10 hours from start to finish when you consider time spent measuring, cutting, assembling, personalising and packing. It really is a labour of love and something we are immensely proud of - creating bespoke keepsake boxes that will last a lifetime and that can be passed down from one generation to the next.
