    These were very simple menus, but being in thick, veg tanned leather with a blind debossed logo on the cover, meant very simple menus became very sophisticated and luxurious menus. 

    Our customer, The Pea Green Boat, was by our standards, very, very local to us. Only 25 miles as the crow flies, in the Devon coastal town of Sidmouth. I think originally the owner wanted just a wine list, but also really wanted menus as well, the budget though wouldn't quite stretch to both.

    It was at one point that we suggested, that if we didn't actually put the words 'wine list' or 'menu' on any of them, he wouldn't be held to one or the other and could decide the ultimate purpose of them as time went on (it made sense when we suggested it).

    The commission came at time when we had quite a number of spirit and wine lists as well as menu's to create, some of which we will show in Blog posts to come. In the mean time, feast your eyes on the examples below.
