Art Collectors Presentation Boxes

We have recently worked on eight of these beautiful presentation boxes and leather albums for the fine art gallery, Alan Klinkhoff Galleries in Montreal, Canada.

Each of the branded boxes is to be given to an individual collector of a particular artist. The covers feature the Klinkhoff Gallaries coat of arms gold foiled onto a leather plaque. Above that is a recessed window behind which is carefully placed an image of the relevant artists work.

Within the box sits an 8.5" x 11" leather portfolio, again branded with the Klinkhoff coat of arms. The purpose of the portfolio is to keep all the relevant documents relating to their collection. For instance history, academic descriptions, evaluations, insurance, invoices, receipts and more.

The boxes are drop back or half clamshell boxes. The outer cover of the boxes is covered in linen book cloth. The leather for the portfolio is our brown 3.5mm thick, Italian veg tanned leather.

A triple slipcase like this is firstly sized around it's contents (the binders) which are also exactly sized around their contents (A4 and 8.5 x 11 pages sitting within plastic sleeves and dividers, that sit perfectly within the inner cover). The box itself consists of 24 boards a quarter of which are different sizes, 10 of which are lined. It is assembled with carefully glueing and careful assembly.
