The Exposed Screw Post portfolio is a really versatile binder, mainly because its capacity is not constrained by having a spine cover. Different volumes of pages can be accommodated simply by swapping over the screw post lengths.

A luxury individually hand made custom screw post portfolio binder, made bespoke to your specification. We will provide you with a statement piece of stationery that is unique to you.

Each order starts with making your portfolio binder from scratch (nothing we do is off the shelf). Each board is cut to make your portfolio sized to fit its contents. We offer you International as well as U.S paper sizes, but should you require it, bespoke sizes as well.

There is a wide range of material options from book cloth to hard wearing buckram to choose from. The wide pallet of colours allows you to find the perfect colour combination.

Lastly and should you require it, is the ability to personalise your portfolio binder. This can be done with a single line of text on the cover, or your logo stamped into it, to having full colour logos, text or images digitally inkjet UV printed onto the entire cover.

How sizes work: All of our products are bespoke and designed to fit exactly the contents that they are going contain. (The size in the description refers to the size of their contents not the cover size.)


Each screw post binder is sized so that the contents sit perfectly on the inner cover. We then add approximately 8mm to the top, bottom and side for the overall cover size.
If your portfolio is going to contain only paper (not plastic page protectors or tabbed dividers) then the cover will be sized around the size of the paper of the product size you choose.
If you tell us in the options that you will be using page protectors, then we will make the covers slightly larger to accommodate the larger size of the page protector.
If you will be using page protectors as well as tabbed dividers with dividers extending beyond the plastic page protector pocket, then we will make the cover larger again to accommodate this. If for instance you decide at a latter date having received your binder to go from paper only to plastic page protector pockets, then these might protrude beyond the outer cover.

Custom sizes: As everything is individually hand made, we are able to make custom sizes. You would have to contact us directly to order this, however for an approximate idea on prices, please select the nearest sizes in our options.

Lead times : Our lead times vary depending upon demand and also the complexity of each order. A wide sweeping though not always accurate estimate is that non personalised orders can be turned around from roughly 2 weeks between ordering and dispatch and personalised ones 3 - 4 weeks. For a more accurate and current lead time, please contact us directly.

How will I know when my order is being made? : Once you place your order you will receive a confirmation order from us, at the bottom of that will be the production week we will be making your order in. Expect your order to be dispatched towards the end of that week.

Once it is dispatched, how does it get to me? : We use a courier company (Fedex or DHL) and we use their fastest service. Once your order has been collected from H&Co, you’ll receive an email with a tracking number as well as updates on the progress of your delivery.
