The lidded box or lidded shoulder box can be made to any size. They are all individually hand crafted and made bespoke to the owners specifications in terms of size, colour and personalisation.

Product Description

The lidded shoulder box, is essentially boxes made within boxes and each box is individually hand made using traditional bindery techniques like double laminated grey board walls that are then step jointed and glued. These take time but they offer you the strongest box possible made from board. Each one is also fabric lined. Also available with these are trays that sit within the box.

You have a wide range of cover material options from book cloth and hard waring buckram and an even wider palate of colours allowing you to find the perfect colour combination.

As all are bespoke, the prices here are based around approximate sizes.

Delivery information

Lead times : Our lead times vary depending upon demand and also the complexity of each order. A wide sweeping though not always accurate estimate is that non personalised orders can be turned around from roughly 2 weeks between ordering and dispatch and personalised ones 3 - 4 weeks. For a more accurate and current lead time, please contact us directly.

How will I know when my order is being made? : Once you place your order you will receive a confirmation order from us, at the bottom of that will be the production week we will be making your order in. Expect your order to be dispatched towards the end of that week.

Once it is dispatched, how does it get to me? : We use a courier company (Fedex or DHL) and we use their fastest service. Once your order has been collected from H&Co, you’ll receive an email with a tracking number as well as updates on the progress of your delivery.
