Luxury, individually hand crafted and bespoke screw post binder ideal for a number of options where elegance and sophistication is key. It can be made in any size and format and in the widest variety of colours, materials and personalisation options.

Product Description

A luxury individually hand made custom screw post portfolio binder, made bespoke to your specification. We will provide you with a statement piece of bespoke stationery that is absolutely unique to you.

The case bound binder, has a 3 piece cover like that of a book. The screw post mechanism is attached and hinged onto the inner back board which allows the contents to either sit on the inner cover or pivot over to the spine.

Each order is custom made and starts from scratch (nothing we do is off the shelf). Each board is cut to perfectly fit the contents you want to put inside it. We offer you International as well as U.S paper sizes, but should you require it, bespoke sizes as well.

You have a wide range of cover material options from book cloth and hard waring buckram to luxury leathers and an even wider palate of colours therefore allowing you to find the perfect colour combination.

Lastly and should you require it, is the ability to personalise your portfolio binder. This can be done with a single line of text on the cover, or your logo stamped into it, to having full colour logos, text or images digitally inkjet UV printed onto the entire cover.

One of our most versatile binders that is used in a variety of forms from presentation portfolios to guest books and albums.

Sizes

How sizes work: All of our products are bespoke and designed to fit exactly the contents that they are going contain. (The size in the description refers to the size of their contents not the cover size.)
Each screw post binder is sized so that the contents sit perfectly on the inner cover. We then add approximately 8mm to the top, bottom and side for the overall cover size.
If your portfolio is going to contain only paper (not plastic page protectors or tabbed dividers) then the cover will be sized around the size of the paper of the product size you choose.
If you tell us in the options that you will be using page protectors, then we will make the covers slightly larger to accommodate the larger size of the page protector.
If you will be using page protectors as well as tabbed dividers with the tabs extending beyond the plastic page protector pocket, then we will make the cover larger again to accommodate this. If for instance you decide at a latter date having received your binder to go from paper only to plastic page protector pockets, then these might protrude beyond the outer cover.

Custom sizes: As everything is individually hand made, we are able to make custom sizes. You would have to contact us directly to order this, however for an approximate idea on prices, please select the nearest sizes in our options.

Delivery information

Lead times : Our lead times vary depending upon demand and also the complexity of each order. A wide sweeping though not always accurate estimate is that non personalised orders can be turned around from roughly 2 weeks between ordering and dispatch and personalised ones 3 - 4 weeks. For a more accurate and current lead time, please contact us directly.

How will I know when my order is being made? : Once you place your order you will receive a confirmation order from us, at the bottom of that will be the production week we will be making your order in. Expect your order to be dispatched towards the end of that week.

Once it is dispatched, how does it get to me? : We use a courier company (Fedex or DHL) and we use their fastest service. Once your order has been collected from H&Co, you’ll receive an email with a tracking number as well as updates on the progress of your delivery.

Buckram is a Rayon cloth with an acrylic coating. Used in libraries around the world, it has been tried and tested over many years and it's success is down to its hardwearing properties. A good outer cover material.

Book Cloth is made from Rayon cloth, is tactile feels natural and looks traditional, however unlike buckram, it does not have a protective coating, which should be considered when using it as an outer cover.

Faux (false) leather is also known as 'vegan leather'. We offer textured and un textured faux leather. Though not quite as robust as buckram, it can be easily maintained and easily foiled and embossed.

The luxury and premium cover option, requiring more bindery work, but for you all the advantages of natural leather. A premium feel that is more durable and hard waring than faux leather or book cloth.

What is this and why are the prices different?

Each impression requires its own metal tooling plate (die). Certain designs, such as type, require different levels of pressure and heat to embossing logos. Not only is this an extra die cost, but also set up and artworking cost.
