Our Leather Menu Covers

Hand cut from a 3.5mm thick veg tanned, tumble finished, full grain hide.

A menu cover we've had since 2015, when a local Exmouth restaurant owner, wanted a simple version of our screw post portfolio.

Mainly available in dark brown, mid brown and black premium full grain tumbled veg tan leather, these hides have the natural character from full grain leather and the advantage of being a durable natural product.

Available in either A4 or A5 (also U.S sizes), it is easy to either blind emboss or foil emboss.

We use screw post bindings as standard, but can also use cord.

The binding mechanism on this leather menu cover, uses the screw post which mechanism which is effective and easy to use.

As these are all individually made, we can also provide you with the same cover, but with an elastic cord.

Your cover is available in a wide range of leathers and fabrics

You are not restricted to just one colour or fabric. 

If there is a particular colour scheme then let us know and we can make suggestions of colours and fabrics to match.

We are always happy to send out samples of fabrics so that you can match them more accurately. The materials we use are archive safe, acid free book cloth.


We would always recommend a buckram outer cover as this is water resistant and hard wearing, can be easily cleaned ensuring it stays pristine.

What's a custom mage menu covers if it is not personalised?

You have a number of possibilities when it comes to  personalising your menu covers

Your logo can either be blind embossed on the cover or foil stamped. For full cover logos can be digitally printed as you would have seen in galleries above.

If you don't see your corporate font in our 'house fonts' we can use any adobe font as well..

Frequently Asked Questions

What is your lead time?

If its is menus, It all depends on the quantity. The minimum we tend to be able to turn around an order of menus is 4-5 weeks.

For more individual items like guest books it is 3-4 weeks.

I am looking for a large number of items, what is your maximum quantity?

We are a small artisan bindery that has very little in the way of production machinery and everything is made by hand. We tend to avoid going over fifty (though on the odd occasion we might), but anything too far north of that, you are better off to find a more volume manufacturer.

Do you have a minimum quantity?

Absolutely not. Much of what we do in other products is a single quantity.

Can we use our own material?

We do use 'own material' however we would need to see it first. If fabric It would usually need to have a backing placed on it so that it can be glued to book board. If leather we would need to see it for suitability.
