Many of our clients seeking a binder for their car documentation end up with multiple files all for the same car. We make a product that allows people to organise their documents properly, while keeping it all together in one big file.
This is two regular ring binders and a leather slip case which wraps around and holds the files together. We start by making the ring binders, so we can make sure the case is big enough for all those documents.
The case is made from Italian veg-tan leather, which we meticulously hand stitch.
We wet the leather and then mould it around the back cover of the ring binder, creating a ridged pocket that will hold the back cover in place.
The final result is a beautifully handcrafted leather case, slotting otherwise bulky and untidy binders together in one neat file.
