We were asked by an American client to create a series of documentation holders for his classic racing car, a 1963 AC Shelby Cobra. Chassis CSX 2156 was driven in Nassau Speed Week, the Daytona 2000km (and still bears its #10 start number) and competed as a Roadster in Le Mans.
Our client wanted the largest binder he could get for all his documentation. We ended up specially sourcing a four inch deep, 8.5 x 11 inch ring binder with 3 rings. As well as six binders, we made a box file and a bookcase to store the files, all the same vibrant red as the car with artwork printed on the sides. We carefully drew the vivid 10 from the Cobra’s nose to print on the spine and cover of each binder.
