This bespoke handmade baby scrapbook adds an extra touch of personality with the handpicked fabric that our customer provided from her local haberdasher.

cotton fabric for keepsake book

By using Heat N Bond iron-on adhesive alongside an off the shelf cotton print fabric, we were able to bond the two together in order to make the book backing. This is a tricky step for us as you need to be very careful not to let any air bubbles in, meaning the fabric must be exactly flat and in line with the Heat n Bond.

Once completed and cooled, we can then glue the fabric to the book board, being sure there are no air bubbles, making for a nice smooth backing.

Along with the use of a perfectly matching doon green on the spine with the debossed name, we were able to create this wonderful personalised baby scrapbook.

Fortunately, we have been lucky enough to work with many people who require a fabric personalised book, and we thoroughly enjoy these projects, knowing there personal meaning behind the product. We love being able to turn our client’s scrapbooks, portfolios or journals into something personal and specific to them, giving them something to keep forever.
