What do we mean by 'Capacity'?

Chicago screw post come in a variety of lengths and we need to determine what size length to use of your custom made order.

How much you intend to put inside your portfolio, determines what size screw posts we supply, but also what width spine we make.

The binder below needed 40 Hartnack plastic pockets placed inside them, so we made the spine big enough to fit the right size posts.

The binder above has 40 plastic page protector pockets in it. As a contrast the posts below have 10 page protectors in with smaller posts. As we are using smaller posts, we would also make the width of the spine marginally smaller as well.

If you already have the contents that you are placing inside it, the first option would be to simply stack them up and measure them.

The photo above is 20 pages of 175gsm paper. 50 pages would obviously be bigger and we would use the appropriate length posts.

If you think you might be placing more in your binder in the future, then let us know that initially it will be taking a smaller amount and the future you envisage it taking up to X more pages. We will will then make the spine wide enough to cope with longer posts.
